Our Mission

Our Mission is to make world a better place, one-person-at-a-time by sharing and enhancing creativity, self esteem and knowlege in children and adults.

We are being recognized as fulfilling our mission . . .

Visit the Nevada Arts CouncilAlan Jordan is a member of the professional organization The Society of Children's Book Writers and IllustratorsThe Monster on Top of the Bed  is one reason that Alan Jordan, the author, was awarded a grant to attend the 2008 Summer Conference of Society of Children's Bookwriters and Illustrators conference by the Nevada Arts Council.

Mr. Jordan extends his warmest thanks to Nevada's Governor and  Nevada's Legislature, which provides funding for many worthy arts projects.

How We Achieve Our Mission

We offer tips, and techniques in downloads, books, CDs, audio files, webinars, in-person workshops and videos.

We help children become published authors, with contracts just like those offered by major publishers.

We partner with businesses that want to say "Thank You" to their customers and clients, while building customer loyalty and generating referrals.  If you manage or own a business, click here.

Adults

Read a draft of Ready Set Go!How much easier would it be for you to get that next great job if you could listened to an .mp3 file that helped you to hear the right way to approach an employer for a job interview?

Here's a stub of a concise, cold introduction:

Here are three examples of how that Cold Introduction sounds:

The .mp3 files are not ready yet, but you can preview Ready, Set Go! by clicking on the graphic on the left on clicking on the VCR-style play buttons. A printable copy is available to subscribers. Subscribers will also be notified as each of the .mp3 files is made available.  There will be one .mp3 file for each presentation and one .mp3 file for each of the book's chapters.  Click here to listen to a preview.

You may reserve your copy, or provide feedback, by using our Contact Us page.

Children

The Monster on Top of the Bed is available as a CD/Book or as a Digital Download

Imagine your child running up to you, giving you a big hug and saying, "I'll never be afraid monsters under the bed any more."  Children learn by examples.  In this book, both Suzy and Karrit's fears melt away when Karrit finally gets up the courage to come to Suzy's room.  Karrit and Suzy develop a strong friendship. Neither of them ever worries about being afraid of monsters again.  The Monster on Top of the Bed and Other Stories and Poems is available as a physical book and a follow-along CD, or as a digital download.

If you select the digital download, the files may be installed on any computer, iPod, .mp3 player or PDA.  You may read the book and print out a copy for each of your children, or for all of the children in one class.

You may also order additional soft-cover books from us for $3.00 each, $2.00 each for 100 or more copies.  Use our Contact Us page to request this special pricing.

Pre-teens & Teenagers

Preteens, teenagers and 20-somethings enjoy reading The Monster on Top of the BedQ. Who wants to read children's stories to kids?

Select one:

1) No one - it's boring

2) Not me - I don't have time to spend with the little dweeps.

3) I do, when I get a chance to help them draw, upload their work into multi-media e-books, and e-mail the e-books to family, friends and classmates.

Hint:  Before you pick 1 or 2, ask your older children the question.
